Each belt is handcrafted in Queensland using traditional saddlery methods and constructed exclusively from Sedgwick & Co. English bridle leather, widely regarded as some of the finest bridle leather in the world. Known for its strength, finish and longevity, Sedgwick leather has long been trusted in military and ceremonial applications where presentation and reliability matter most.

Paired with this is a genuine snakeskin lining, available in a range of natural colours and patterns. No two linings are ever identical, ensuring every belt carries its own unique character while maintaining the structure and durability Douglas Leather is known for.

To match the exclusivity of the build, all furniture is finished in 18ct gold plating to a 2-micron thickness, producing a deep, rich lustre far beyond standard brass fittings. The result is refined, understated and unmistakably premium — a Sam Browne designed to stand apart without needing to say a word.
