Pricing update - Effective 1 July 2026

At Douglas Leather we’ve always tried to keep our pricing as fair and affordable as possible while still delivering high-quality, hand-crafted ceremonial leatherwork built to last.

Unfortunately, due to continued increases in import and freight costs, there will be a small pricing adjustment across some products effective from 1 July 2026.

The main factors affecting pricing are:

• Increased import costs from the UK

• Rising freight and shipping expenses

• Supplier price increases from our UK supplier of Sedgwick leather

That said, we are still doing everything we can to keep costs as low as possible for our customers.

Updated Pricing

Italian Leather Sam Browne Kits:

These kits will remain unchanged in price.

• Full Italian Leather Kit: $625

• Postage: $20 Australia-wide

Sedgwick Leather Sam Browne Kits:

Sedgwick kits will see a modest increase of approximately 5%.

• Full Sedgwick Kit: $1050

• Postage: $20 Australia-wide

Turnaround Times

Current turnaround times remain:

• 4–6 weeks depending on the time of year

However, during our busiest ceremonial production season between June and October, we are often still able to complete kits within:

• 2–3 weeks

As always, every Sam Browne is individually handcrafted and custom-made to your measurements and specifications.

As Douglas Leather continues to grow, we’re beginning to bring more people into the workshop to help maintain quality, improve efficiency, and continue supporting Australian military members with handcrafted ceremonial gear.
